# Manage Purge
From the main Settings panel, tap \*\*Manage Purge\*\* to open the purge control screen. Here you can turn automatic purge on or off, set purge notifications, customize purge GIFs, and run a manual purge.
### Manage Purge
Youβll see the current **Purge Settings** (Auto-Purge on/off), **Notification Settings**, and **Purge GIFs**, plus buttons for the actions below.

### Purge Settings
The **automatic purge** runs daily: it checks every member against your gates and removes anyone who no longer meets them (unless whitelisted).
* **π’ Enable Auto-Purge** β Turn the daily purge **on** (default). Use this to keep the chat gated automatically.
* **π΄ Disable Auto-Purge** β Turn the daily purge **off**. No one is automatically removed for failing the gate. Use this to pause purges (e.g. while you change gates or run a manual check instead).
Tap the button that matches the state you want. The panel updates to show the new status.

### Manage Purge Notifications
Control who gets notified when a purge runs (DMs to admins, message in chat, your own DMs).
1. On the Manage Purge screen, tap **π Manage Purge Notifications**.
2. Youβll see options such as:
* **Share with admins** β Detailed purge report sent to admins by DM (on/off).
* **Share with chat** β A purge summary message sent in the group/channel (on/off).
* **Your notifications** β Whether you personally get purge-related DMs (on/off).
3. Tap the option you want to change. The bot confirms and you can go back with **β Back to Manage Purge**.

### Manage Purge GIFs
You can set custom GIFs for purge-related messages (e.g. when someone is purged, or when everyone passes βdiamond handsβ).
1. On the Manage Purge screen, tap **π Manage Purge GIFs**.
2. Choose which GIF to set:
* **Set Purged GIF** β Shown when users are removed for not meeting the gate.
* **Set Diamond Hands GIF** β Shown when no one was purged (everyone still meets the gate).
* **Set Supply Control GIF** β Used for supply-control related messages, if applicable.
3. Tap **Set β¦** for the one you want, then send an **animated GIF** in the chat. The bot confirms and uses it from then on.
4. Use **View β¦** to see the current GIF for that type. Use **β Back to Manage Purge** to return.
If you donβt set a custom GIF, the default is used.

### Manually Purge Now
Run a purge **immediately** instead of waiting for the daily run. The same logic applies: validate everyone against your gates and remove those who no longer qualify (whitelisted users are never removed).
Manual purge works even if **Auto-Purge** is disabled. It does not change the Auto-Purge setting.
1. On the Manage Purge screen, tap **π Manually Purge Now**.
2. The bot confirms that the purge has been queued and will run shortly.\

**Cooldown:** You can only trigger a manual purge once per day.
3. After it runs, youβll get notifications according to your **Manage Purge Notifications** settings.

Tap **β Back to Settings** to return to the main Settings panel.
