# Multichain Metrics

Built to support tokens & communities that live on multiple blockchains

This feature is powered by "[Multichain Metrics](https://www.multichainmetrics.com/)"

If your token lives on multiple chains you need to register it on [multichainmetrics.com](https://www.multichainmetrics.com/) to access this feature.

### How it Works

Once registered our bot will know that your token is bridged across different chains and will treat all contract address on all chains as ONE UNIFIED TOKEN.

### Real World Example

[$PONKE is registered on multichain metrics](https://www.multichainmetrics.com/token/ponke) with 2 blockchains.

* Solana
* Base

If your gate requires a member to hold 10,000 $PONKE tokens THEN a user could hold the following and still be granted access to your chat.\
\
5,000 $PONKE on Solana\
5,000 $PONKE on Base

Since [Multichain Metrics](https://www.multichainmetrics.com/) considers this the same tokens. So do we, allowing your members the freedom to hold your token on the blockchains of their choice and still get access.
