# Create Entry Channel

An "Entry Channel" is where users go to join your "Gated Chat(s)"

In the step you will create & configure the **"Entry Channel"** members will use to gain access to your exclusive **"Gated Chats"**

### Step 1: Create the **"Entry Channel"**

1. Find the button for **"New Channel"** in your Telegram app. (Button location differs from device to device)\

2. Give your entry channel a **name**.\

3. Channel settings

* Select "**Public Channel"**
* Change the **Link** to something easy to remember & share
* Click **Save**\

4. Click **"Skip"**

### Channel Settings

If your using a channel that already exists make sure the settings are set to public.

* Find the button for **"Manage Channel"** in your Telegram app. (Button location differs from device to device)<br>

* Select "**Channel Type"** from the options\

* **Select "Public Channel"**
* Change the **Link** to something easy to remember & share
* Click **Save**
